Window Systems Division Introduces Long Service Recognition Award
I am very pleased to announce the introduction of a Long Service Recognition scheme across Window Systems Division.
The Recognition Scheme
- The scheme we will recognise long service at 10, 15, 20, 25, 30 and 35 year intervals.
- You will receive a certificate acknowledging your long service.
- Invitation to lunch with managing director/Divisional Board to thank you for your long service.
- A financial payment to spend as you wish.
- As much or as little internal publicity as you would like!

Scheme Rules
- Service anniversary milestones are reviewed quarterly and awarded the following month, eg: if an employee’s anniversary falls in Q1 (Jan–Mar), they will receive their award in April.
- Payments will be made via payroll in April (Q1), July (Q2), October (Q3), January (Q4).
- Payment is subject to Tax and NI.
- Employee must be employed and not working notice when payment is due.
2023 Launch
The first recognition awards will be made in April 2023. This will capture any employees whose anniversary dates occur between 1st January 2023 – 31st March 2023 and who have reached one of the long service milestones.
As this is a new scheme, we will backdate recognition for those employees who are in between the milestones based on the last service milestone they have passed and award in the relevant quarter, for example:
- An employee reaches 23 years’ service on their anniversary date in September 2023. They will be recognised in Q3 with 20 years’ service and awarded £400 in October 2023. Their next milestone will be 25 years’ service when they will receive £600.
