Three Peaks Success for Stu

On 19 July, ICT infrastructure manager Stuart Adkins joined two of his friends in successfully completing the Three Peaks Challenge to support their friend whose little boy, Stanley, is suffering from Childhood Leukaemia.

After starting their ascent of Ben Nevis at 5pm the previous day, the trio finished the challenge, which involves climbing the three highest peaks of Scotland, England and Wales, in 26 hours.

“It was an amazing experience to be able to support our close friend and his family,” says Stuart, “even with the lack of sleep, poor weather in places and an aching body. The highlight was having Stan there to greet us when we’d completed the challenge.”
