Ray McGrady

Hi, I’m Ray McGrady and I work for Epwin as Commercial Director. My role includes leading the Marketing, Commercial Sales, Customer Service and Non-Conformance Teams across the business.

In my spare time, not that there is much of that, I watch F1, Birmingham City!!! and I like to run. But with two young daughters, most of my free time is taken up as an unpaid taxi driver, make-up artist, fashion consultant and whatever games they are playing at any given time.

Tell us three things we don’t know about you?

• I love dogs and have a Russian Liver Spotted Dalmatian called ‘Duke’, his dad won Cruft’s!!!! he’s not the sharpest tool in the box, but very lovable.
• My wife said I love the worst films that have ever been made, what’s wrong with Love Actually, Notting Hill and The Holiday!!!!!!
• I’m a massive Formula 1 fan and I try to visit a different race each year, still plenty to tick off the list and when travel allows the top of the wish list would be Singapore.

What did you want to be when you were younger?
An Architect, I have a fascination with bridges, sad I know!

What’s your most random talent?
I can do a reasonable Donald Duck Impression.

What advice would you give a candidate who wants to join our team?
Work hard, be committed and be a team player and you will progress in the business.
