Induction
Epwin believes that all new employees MUST be given timely induction training.
This training is regarded as a vital part of you joining the Group, but most of all settling into your new work environment.
Induction arrangements
The induction process is designed to integrate you into the organisation and enable you to understand your role and the contribution you can make to the success of the Company.
During your first week you will receive a local induction with your line-manager who will introduce you to your new team, your new environment and talk through your new role with you, what is required from you and provide you with all the answers to your questions while you are new to the job.
Your local induction will be conducted by your manager and the process will vary from site to site.
In order to support your induction, you will find information in “The Hub” answering some of your questions, but ask your manager and they should advise.

What should you expect
- An understanding of the business, how your team operates and set expectations
- Information on policies and procedures
- Regular discussions on your performance and progression against the expected standards
- Opportunities to discuss any concerns you have
- Provision of relevant training
What should be covered

- Arrangements for first week

- Introduction to company’s policies and procedures
- Health and Safety requirements, including issue of PPE, if relevant
Fire and first aid provisions - Site familiarisation

What is required of you as a new employee
It’s important we have all your details in order to support your employment with us. On joining the Company, you should have returned to your Human Resources Department:
A signed copy of your offer letter / contract of employment
Personal details form
Supporting documentation to show you have the right to work in the UK. Please refer to your offer letter for details
Any confidentiality agreements if applicable
Pre-placement driver authorisation form if applicable
Medical Questionnaire should have been completed online
